Delivery Times & Methods

We'll deliver your hammock anywhere in the world as fast as we possibly can. The times below are an indication only and in most cases your order will arrive sooner. To check delivery costs for your particular order visit the basket page and select the shipping destination.

Delivery Within The UK

For deliveries within the UK we currently use DPD couriers or, for smaller items, Royal Mail. For Scottish Highlands and Islands we usually use Royal Mail or Parcelforce.

UK Service: Goods should be delivered within around 5 working days of receipt of your Order Confirmation. This is an outside estimate. Usually goods will arrive well before this but there is no guarantee. If your order is urgent you should mention this in the customer message box when checking out and we will do our best to meet your deadline.

Delivery Outside The UK

For deliveries outside of the EU we currently use Royal Mail, Parcelforce, DPD or an alternative courier such as UPS or TNT.

International Service: Goods should be delivered within 7 working days of receipt of your Order Confirmation. Once again, we should re-iterate that this is an estimate only but we will do our best to get your purchases to you as quickly as possible.

For deliveries outside of the UK we are able to deduct VAT (currently 20%) from the cost of the goods. This will automatically be done at the basket page prior to entering your payment details and will appear as a VAT credit. This represents a significant saving on the cost of your purchase. Unfortunately you will still be charged VAT on the shipping costs as this is unrecoverable by us. You should also be aware that, on arrival, the shipped goods may attract local import taxes.

The Mexican Hammock Company has been supporting smaller producer groups in Mexico for more than 35 years and is an important outlet for many small Mexican enterprises. We believe in the concept of development through small scale trade and communal, worker owned, ventures in regions of high unemployment and relative poverty.
